Shipping policy

The Fire Stop offers free shipping on all orders in the Contiguous U.S.

Our headquarters building is located in New York State, but we ship from numerous warehouses across the U.S. and Canada to try and provide the quickest shipping to our customers. Our shipping time frame is typically 7 - 10 business days. In the occurrence we ship from one of our distribution locations or directly from the Manufacturer, the shipping times will vary and in some instances, extend past our shipping times. We do ask for patience in these cases and will get you the products you ordered as quickly as possible.

For shipments going overseas or to locations like Alaska, Hawaii, or any U.S. territories beyond the mainland, you will receive a shipping estimate via email within 48 hours. If requested during holiday or weekend hours, a representative will respond via email on the next working day. This applies to any delivery needing a ferry or boat. Your order won't be processed until you approve and pay all additional charges.

International orders, territories or the U.S. and state outside the contiguous U.S. do not qualify for complimentary standard shipping. We frequently ship to Canada and are delighted to facilitate these orders; nevertheless, it is your responsibility to reach out to our sales representatives to ascertain shipping costs. There may be additional international shipping options available, but please contact us to check their availability. Please note that international orders do not fall under our standard return policy and will be assessed individually, ensuring a tailored approach to each unique situation.

Most items shipped through our standard parcel service can be accelerated for an extra fee, allowing you to reduce shipping time or secure delivery by a specific date. However, it's important to note that this does not include processing time, which may vary depending on the manufacturer's or distributors stock and our on hand stock. Items transported via freight are shipped at the discretion of the LTL or Freight company and therefore, cannot be accelerated any further.

If you submit a request for expedited or overnight shipping after 2 PM Eastern Standard Time, please be aware that your order will be processed and shipped the next business day. To request the availability and cost of expedited shipping, contact our Customer Service team at 800-400-0213.

**Please keep in mind that expedited shipping options are still subject to the carrier's restrictions and limitations, which may include unforeseen circumstances such as weather events and natural disasters that could prevent on-time expedited delivery.

IMPORTANT: Please note that we cannot ship to a P.O. Box addresses or Military APOs or Forward Operating Bases.

- In Stock products – Will ship within 48 Hours.

- Custom Built products – Typically take 4 - 6 weeks and in some cases, slightly longer. Shipping on these items will ship from our facility 24-72 hours after receipt and inspection.

- Out-Of-Stock products or currently unavailable products will ship upon the return of the items to our inventory. A message will be sent to all customers that may have items on Back Order or Out-Of-Stock will receive an email when items become available.

Home Heating appliances are shipped via Freight or LTL, and the delivery is limited to to curbside delivery. This can vary pending on your driveway and accessibility to your home. Freight carriers are specially trained and equipped with the necessary tools and expertise to handle oversized and fragile items with care. Below are steps to assist you on what to expect.

In-Stock Products will be processed within 48 hours.

- Within 24 hours after your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email. This email will provide you with tracking information, allowing you to track your shipment.

Once your shipment arrives at the local freight terminal, a representative from the transport company will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment. These appointments are typically arranged from Monday through Friday, and you will be given a small window during standard business hours for the delivery. It is crucial that the phone number you provided at the time of ordering is accurate and functional, as this will be the primary means of contacting you.

On the day of delivery, the driver will arrive at your location with a truck equipped with a lift-gate, which will gently lower the appliance to the ground at the edge of your driveway. Due to company policy, the driver is not permitted to move the appliance beyond this point. Please be aware that curbside delivery service does not include setting up or assembling the items, nor does it involve removing any packaging materials or bringing the items inside your home.

 Upon delivery, it is essential for you to inspect the shipment and sign a Proof of Delivery Receipt. Carefully check for any visible damage, and if you notice any, make sure to document it on the delivery receipt and take photographs as evidence. You have the right to refuse the delivery if any damage is observed. For any issues related to transport damage, please contact us immediately so we can assist you further.

VERY IMPORTANT:

You MUST inspect the package at the time of delivery. If the box has any damage, or if you suspect the contents of the box are damaged, please write "PRODUCT DAMAGED" clearly on the sheet that the driver will ask you to sign. This ensures that TheFireStop.com can easily resolve this issue with the shipper. If the item is refused for any reason other than damage, which must be clearly noted on the sheet the driver asks you to sign, you may be liable for the round trip shipping charges. TheFireStop.com recommends that ALL products are installed by a licensed installer. Please review all model manuals and installation guide to ensure products are installed correctly. TheFireStop.com is not responsible for any errors in installation or incorrectly purchased products to be used for installation. Manufacturer's guides should always be used to verify required materials and products prior to installation.
